2015 Honda HRV Crossover Fit: An Artistic Hatch!

Honda has confirmed that they will be launching the HRV Crossover Fit next year and it the car is already described as a fine work of art. This is because the HRV Crossover Fit is going to be a 4-door coupe that is made to appear like a 2-door model.

If car junkies are to check out the concept image of the vehicle, they wouldn’t be able to notice the rear two doors at all. Apparently, Honda did a super fine job in hiding the rear door handles and borders. However, the rear doors are still visible upon close observation.

To complete the coupe package, the HRV Crossover Fit also features a curvy roofline. Unfortunately, having such a feature actually affects the interior space, particularly at the rear seating areas.

In detail, the rear headroom and shoulder room are now smaller than how it is on the original Honda Fit. The legroom, on the other hand, won’t be affected since Honda reduced the size of the cargo boot. As such, the HRV Crossover Fit won’t make a great family vehicle due to the space constraints.

Aside from that, the hatchback is confirmed to be coming with a CVT transmission as a standard. On the other hand, consumers can also opt for the 6-speed manual transmission for the Honda HRV Crossover Fit.

The car will come out weighing at 2600lbs while also having a base price of $16,000 and a peak price of $21,000. When the Honda HRV Crossover Fit arrives, it will look to compete with the Ford Fiesta and the Peugeot 208.
