Like fire and ice, both the latest Honda HR-V and the Jeep Renegade are two completely different compact SUVs. The HR-V, in particular is developed to be a great vehicle that is both practical and reliable.
The compact SUV from Honda is powered by a 1.5L 4-cylinder engine that is mated to a CVT transmission and this ensures that the HR-V is fuel efficient at all times. In short, the HR-V is made to become an affordable compact SUV that has a low running daily cost.
This is one feat that is not on the latest Jeep Renegade as the vehicle came out with a different engine setup. The Renegade is towed by a 1.4L turbocharged engine that is paired to a 6-speed automatic transmission and it is not fuel efficient at all.
However, there is one special feature on the Renegade and it is with the 4WD lever. When engaged, the Renegade will turn into a beast as it will then be able to race on the dirt trails and also climb on hills easily.
