Honda UK became the buzz yesterday after they revealed the price of the next-gen Honda Civic Type-R. It is confirmed that the upcoming sports hatch is going to come with a launching price of £42,950 and that is inclusive of a free track day pass.
The announcement was made on Honda UK’s Twitter account and it immediately became the trending subject. Unfortunately, the Japanese carmaker removed the post thus suggesting it to be a leak. Nevertheless, we managed to capture a screenshot of the Tweet and you can view it above.
The other talking point here is with the price of the Honda Civic Type-R, which is believed to be too steep for many. Costing at £42,950, the vehicle is priced like a luxury car. Then again, consumers that pay the sum will get the world’s fastest FWD vehicle to ever race at Nurnburgring.
