2015 Honda Civic Review: Newer, Cheaper, Better

Honda has promised to give the Civic a mid-cycle facelift for its MY2015 line-up and now, the car is available for purchase. We couldn’t wait a second longer and decided to head down to the nearest Honda showroom and see the vehicle for ourselves.

It gets more shocking when we discovered that the Civic Facelift is actually cheaper than the previous model. Furthermore, it has more to offer than its predecessor. Just the entry level alone is completed with new features like keyless Smart Entry with push start button, cruise control and auto headlamps.

Up one level is the 2.0 S model and it comes with auto headlamps and a total of 6 airbags. In addition to that, the Civic is offered with many packages from Mugen like the Aerokit and the Full Package.

As for the design, this new Civic Facelift isn’t that different from the old model. It took us quite some time to discover that the grille’s chrome accents are now shifted behind the Honda logo. The chrome colour is also featured on the air intake vents.

Aside from that, everything about the Civic Facelift is the same as before. It is still powered by the same set of engines while offering the same performance. On the bright side of things, consumers will actually have to pay less to get more features.
