The Chevrolet Colorado might be the best pickup truck in the market right now but to call it as a mid-sized vehicle in the segment is a huge mistake. Yes, the Colorado might measure 5.5” thinner in width and 14.5” shorter in length than the Silverado but it is still huge.
Being a mid-sized pickup truck, the Colorado is far larger than its competitors in the segment. Heck, the vehicle is about a couple of inches short of the large pickup truck category. Clear, the automotive rulings have to do something about this as it is getting confusing.
There has to be a standard in sizing because when people read the Colorado as a mid-sized they might get a shocking of a lifetime when in Chevrolet’s showroom due to the large build-up of the pickup truck.
Regardless, the Chevrolet Colorado is still a great vehicle to own as it is able to offer 3 to 5mpg more gas mileage than its competitors. In addition to that, the Colorado is both stylish, affordable and customizable too.
