2015 Acura TLX Review: Personal Preference Should Be Set Aside

The latest Acura TLX was launched late last year and the saloon does make a great definition of a luxury car. Even so, it is unfortunate that the TLX has failed to stamp its authority in the luxury automotive segment.

When closely observing the TLX, there isn’t anything wrong with the vehicle. The saloon is powered by a V6 engine and is driven on the FWD system. Furthermore, there is a reliable 9-speed automatic transmission that also ensures a smooth driving experience throughout.

Then again, it seems that the TLX is lacking multiple trim levels. The standard TLX is exactly how Acura feels a luxury sedan should be but not to the masses. For most car junkies, they seem to love it if the TLX comes with the SH-AWD system and an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission.

Of course, such a rig will surely boost the performance of the TLX but unfortunately, Acura does not favour dual clutch system. Even so, the Japanese luxury carmaker should have put their personal preferences aside and introduce more options with the TLX.
