2014 Ford Focus Review: Interior Design Needs An Overhaul

It is unsure what Ford was thinking when it changed the Focus’ fierce design to something gentler with the latest model. However, all is forgiven since the latest Ford Focus offers a dynamic driving experience with a performance that excels beyond our expectations.

The Ford Focus is simply amazing. Even when it comes with a host of new mechanical instruments and technologies, the Focus manage to retain its fun factor. The Focus offers a handling that is only rivalled by few as it corners flat and maintains grip on the tar mat at all times.

On the downside of things, the new Focus is no longer generous in space, despite being more or less the same size as its predecessors. Also, the central console system houses too many buttons that made driving the Focus feels like math class. Drivers will need some time getting used to the various buttons and their assigned functions.

Negativity aside, the Focus is simply amazing on the performance front. It is powered by the 1.6L 4-cylinder turbocharged EcoBoost engine that also returns a staggering 47mpg. On the other hand, consumers can also opt for the 1L EcoBoost mill like those on the award-winning Ford Fiesta.
