The iPhone is full of success stories over the years. However, things have deviate from its course after Apple launched the iPhone 5C. This colourful variant of iPhones has recorded the worst sales in Apple’s history.
The American company often creates a smartphone that offer a premium feel. The iPhone 5C was believed to be that ‘cheap’ escape although Apple labels it as the youth magnet. Either way, the iPhone 5C has been nothing more than an epic fail.
The latest statistics revealed the iPhone 5C’s performance in China. Under the great eastern carrier, Umeng, the device is the worst of all three iPhones. The iPhone 5 owns 7% of the market share whereas the iPhone 5S recorded 12% of the market. The 5C however fell short owning only 2% of the market.
China appears to be repeating the same sales pattern with the rest of the world when it comes to the iPhone 5C. As such, it is safe to assume that there won’t be an iPhone 6C coming in the near future.
