Microsoft Office is always a necessity in every computer devices. Even though both Microsoft and Apple are bitter rivals, there is no denying that a device is never complete without Microsoft Office.
The last Microsoft Office released to the Macs is the 2011 version. It is already 2014 now and Microsoft will be looking to roll out the latest version of Office in the second quarter this year.
Now, the iPad is also capable of running office and it is no secret that this slate from Apple will also get its own version of the software. The Office 2014 for iPad will be different from those on the desktops. It seems that users will have to subscribe to Office 365 in order to use the application.
The price varies from Office Home and Business. Microsoft Office for the Mac will be priced at $69 and will entitle the user to use Office on the iPad for a year.
At the moment, there are no specific dates to when the Office 2014 will be released to both the Mac and iPad but since the subscription pattern involves both machines, Microsoft is expected to launch them at the same time.
