2016 Kia Picanto Facelift Almost Here

In a matter of weeks from now, Geneva will be hosting their annual Motor Show and the event will be that centre for Kia to unveil the Picano Facelift. This was confirmed by the South Korean tech manufacturer yesterday when they shared more details on the upcoming hatchback.

On the exterior, Kia claims that the changes on the facelifted Picanto will be limited to the bumpers, grille and wheels. In detail, the bumpers will get redesigned, a tiger-nose grille will be in place and the wheels will look more sporty than stock.

The inside too has been refurbished as Kia claims they have given the interior a more premium feel just by adding aluminium dividers along its air vents and compartments.

Under the hood, the Picanto Facelift is still powered by the 1L MPI 3-cylinder engine. However, Kia did tease that they might introduce small-output turbo-powered motors through an additional trim model.

Of course, more will surely be revealed at the Geneva Motor Show. The Kia Picanto Facelift is expected to make its debut in March next month and it will be released on a global scale.
