Rumours have been rife in claiming that Ford is producing the next-gen Bronco and the vehicle is due to arrive next year. However, since the old SUV was discontinued back in the mid-90s due to a controversy, the rumours revealed that the upcoming model will come with a different name.
In detail, the Bronco that will debut next year will be known as the Ford Troller. Even with a different identity, the Troller will still come with all the features and characteristics of the last Bronco Concept that was unveiled back in 2004.
Under the hood however, things are going to be new. The rumours are suggesting that the Troller will be powered by 3.5L EcoBoost engine. In addition to that, consumers will also get to choose the 4.5L diesel motor.
Furthermore, there will also be two transmission options coming with the Bronco and they are the 6-speed manual and the 6-speed automatic gearboxes.
Of course, Ford has yet to make any confirmation on these rumours so it is best to take it with a pinch of salt. We will definitely clarify the matter once Ford returned our queries in the near future.
