The partnership of Google and LG will go down in history as one of the best collaboration around. It unsure if the duo will part ways next year since Google will be looking to end the Nexus line of smartphones this year.
LG has been working with Google ever since Nexus 4. After a sequence of success with the Nexus project, the company will look to finish the job with the Nexus 6. This upcoming Nexus will be the last of the series and a blueprint is already in place for its development. The Nexus 6 is expected to be modeled after the LG G Pro 2.
It is not only the Nexus 6 that is in the works. LG is also developing a Nexus smartwatch to compliment the future smartphone. This wearable will ease access to every Google Now features. The watch is expected to reduce the number of times the smartphone gets removed from the pocket.
In addition to that, the Nexus smartwatch can also work independently without needing to pair with a smartphone. It can even offer high resolution display on the watch’s screen.
If this is true, then the Nexus 6 will certainly continue Google’s tradition where they create new benchmarks for the entire market to follow. All in all, we will know for sure once these devices get unveiled at this year’s I/O.
