One of the most anticipated applications, the Pokebank, is finally out and the millions and millions of Pokemon players are quick to anticipate it.
The Pokebank is a service application which enables players to store their Pokemon on cloud storage. It is also compatible with previous generation Pokemon game. As such, players are allowed to bring over previous-gen Pokemon to the latest Pokemon X & Y.
While it all sounds great and something useful for the players to lookout for, a small minority of Pokemon players finds the Pokebank to be nothing more than a poison to the gaming franchise.
This is due to the many hackers that have been hacking and cheating their way in the game. With the Pokebank, there is a much higher risk for hacked Pokemon to pollute X & Y.
Even though the Pokebank performed checks to prevent hacked Pokemon from entering X & Y, it is not secured enough. Carefully hacked Pokemon from the 6th generation game can still slip through easily.
In the age of digital networking, almost everything is hack-able. It is all down to Nintendo to ensure the security of both the Pokebank and Pokemon X & Y.
