GTA 5 is a big game that boasts a huge number of players. Following the retaliation by Rockstar against the hackers that has been destroying GTA Online, a handful of players are now apprehended and held in a cheater’s lobby.
It is only right for a huge GTA population to have a huge minority of players. As such, the cheater’s lobby is filling up quickly. Despite the fact that there is no limit to the number of players pushed into this specific lobby, it is a worrying sight to know that there are a lot more hackers than anticipated. On another note, the normal lobbies are now less crowded and the honest folks certainly missed their chaotic presence in GTA Online.
Today, a rumour has ignited a buzz within the GTA community. The rumour hinted that Rockstar is creating a sandbox mode for GTA Online where money won’t be a necessity. There, it is all about chaos and mayhem and there are no rules and limits to what a player could do. It is basically a virtual wilderness. Creating a sandbox lobby will certainly slow down the rate of players being detained in the cheater’s lobby.
As for the sandbox mode, fans have wanted it to be 100% free of charge. Also, there is no need for achievements and unlocks as everything will be available. Perhaps, it could also be like the single player mode, only without the money. Apart from that, players can steal tanks and wage wars against the LCPD or simply compete in a clean race with other players.
At the moment, this is a great idea. However, having a real prison would be much nicer as players will also get the opportunity to break someone out. Nevertheless, a sandbox GTA 5 wouldn’t be short on fun and will definitely leave Los Santos with a trail of disaster.
