So it looks like the Ford Mondeo will be joining the Fiesta and Focus soon. Ford was at the 2016 Goodwood Festival where they showed off the Ford Fiesta ST200, Ford Fiesta ST, Ford Focus ST as well as the Ford Mondeo ST.
Powering it is a 2.0-liter TDCi diesel engine that will be delivering about 147hp and will be mated to a six-speed manual or Powershift auto transmission. Ford will also be offering a 177hp version fo the engine as well as a 2.0 liter Bi-Turbo TDCi which will have an output of 207hp. Those looking for a petrol option will be able to choose from the 157hp 1.5 liters EcoBoost engine, the 200hp 1.5-liter EcoBoost engine as well as the 240hp 2.0 liter EcoBoost engine.
The Ford Mondeo ST will come with two forms, five-doors, and estate. To make sure it does not get mixed up with the standard model, the Ford Mondeo ST will be coming in with an upgraded upper and lower front grille along with LED DRLs, sports rear bumper, 18 or 19inch alloys, and more. The rear roof spoiler will be included as standard on the estate model while the five-door model will be getting it as an optional feature.
As amazing as this is, it is highly unlikely that we will be seeing them in the US.
