Flappy Bird is the latest mobile gaming application to trend worldwide and just when its popularity is about to hit new heights, the game developer, Dong Nguyen, discarded his creation.
Analyst revealed that the lad was earning about $50,000 from adverts and it is unsure why he decided to pull the plug on Flappy Bird. The Vietnamese lad did mention that he is under severe stress.
Despite that fact, there have been many speculations claiming that Dong Nguyen committed suicide. The news reads that Nguyen shot himself in the head at his home in Vietnam. The situation soon exaggerated itself claiming that Nguyen could have replicated another game and got tangled in some copyright issues.
However, this is nothing more than a hoax to stir things up. Nguyen was spotted Tweeting even after news of his death circulated. The hoax Twitter account bearing Nguyen’s identity is now disregarded.
