The next-generation Ford F-150 is going to be released very soon from now and today, consumers can already tailor make the vehicle to fit their needs. This is now possible after Ford launched the online generator for the F-150.
When running the online generator for the first time, consumers will be greeted by the F-150 base model, which retails at $26,615. This is pretty basic as it offers a 6.5-foot pickup bed with two-doors. Of course, a lot of features are missing including the most basic of them all, floor carpets.
After frequent generating of the Ford F-150, our technical expert shared with us the best combination for the F-150 that ensures ultimate power while being cost conscious.
The first advice here is to make the F-150 look good. The base model is coated in contrast red. To look better, we changed the colour of the grille, bumpers and side mirrors to black. Also, we opted for the regular cab F-150 with three-seats.
Underneath the hood, we opted for the 5L Coyote V8. No, it is not as powerful as the 3.5L EcoBoost but remember, the aim here is to get as much power for the smallest fee. The other advantage to drop the EcoBoost is because the V8 weighs lighter and have 20hp extra.
To complete the vehicle, we purchased the $470 electronic-locking rear differential with a shorter 3:55:1 ratio. This will come together with the $495 Trailer Tow package. The total price for this beast is $29,175, which is about $3K more than the base price.
