Subaru will be giving the Subaru Forester before it heads to the US as a 2017 model. The upgraded design was shown off at the Tokyo Motor Show last year and was released in Japan soon after as the 2016 model.
The front fascia of the Subaru Forester was given an update. They also made some changes to the rear lights on the Subaru Forester. The bumper, headlight and grille have also been upgraded.
Under the hood is a 2.0-liter engine that will come mated to a CVT or a six-speed manual transmission. The 2017 Subaru Forester will also come with a few new safety features including the Eyesight pre-crash safety system which will come with Active Lane Keep, Pre-Collision Braking Control, Adaptive Cruise Control and more.
Those looking for more and opt for the advanced package which will come with an additional radar system for detecting obstacles in blind spots.
