Honda has already confirmed that the Accord will be getting a facelift and it is due to arrive next year. While the Japanese carmaker has yet to shed more light on the Accord Facelift, we can already see what the upcoming sedan has got to offer.
This is through referring to the DongFang Spirior Facelift that was unveiled back at the Beijing Auto Show last month. After all, the Spirior is basically the Honda Accord that is renamed and rebadged for the local Chinese market. Heck, Honda was also involved in developing the Spirior Facelift.
We gazed at the Spirior Facelift and noticed that the car has a frontal design that looks so much like the upcoming Honda Civic Type-R. The Japanese carmaker even described the Spirior as something that possess significant advancements in exterior design, dynamic performance and technologies along with safety features.
The Spirior Facelift is completed with a 2.4L direct injection, 4-cylinder engine that is mated to an 8-speed DCT transmission. Other features on the Spirior include head-up show, blind spot show and lane departure discourage.
