LG will be looking to unleash the all-new G3 smartphone anytime very soon and we can’t wait to see if the rumoured specs are spot on. This successor to the highly-successful G2 will be launched on May 27 and it will be unveiled in 7 different locations simultaneously.
Rumours have been hinting on the LG G3 to offer something more than its competitors. This is due to the device strong tie-up with the Google Nexus smartphones. As such, there is a chance for the G3 to come with the Snapdragon 805 processor.
In reality, the G3 will be arriving much earlier than the rumoured processor. To only fastest specs available would be the 2.5GHz Snapdragon 801 with Adreno 330 GPU with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. There will be a microSD card slot that can support storage expansion of up to 128GB.
The LG G3 is expected to come with a 3000mAh battery. Since there is a trend going on the power saving mode, expect the Korean company to offer its own as well.
Display-wise, the G3 will have a huge 5.5inch screen that offers Quad HD resolution. The bezels will be thinner than ever if the leaked images of the device are to be believed. Other features include a 13MP OIS rear camera that supports 4K recording.
There is some buzz hinting that LG will add in a heart rate sensor next to the rear shooter. On the other hand, it could also be the laser sensors for extreme focus when taking photos.
The biggest mystery is with the built material. The world has no clue as the G3 could either come with a plastic or metal finish.
All in all, we are about a week away from the device’s coming and it will be an exciting day when the G3 comes out. Will LG make it, or break it?
