Will 2016 Ford Focus RS Drop Flashbangs On The Road?

If you know anything about the military then you will be aware that a flashbang is used for blinding enemies. It would seem that Ford are going to be using a similar technology for their future vehicles.

To be more exact, Ford released camera lights recently which are a prototype of a techprototype of technology called camera lights.

What they really are is a pair of fog lights. The camera lights can locate potental threats on the road during the night and will illuminate the human, object or animal that it may come across.

The features rotated the lights independantly allowing them to shine directly at the threat on the road. There are concerns however that, rather than actually helping, that the lights could create more issues.

The reason is that if the lights aim directly at a person then the lights would blind them, which would stop them from reacting quickly and than could result in a crash.

Ford have revealed that the lights are almost finished for the market and if this is indeed true then it could be possible that the new Focus RS might have them.

We can not say for definite that the lights would blind people though as Ford have not demonstated them yet.
