Google Nexus 10 2 Will Measure A Foot Diagonally & Compensate By Losing Menu Buttons (Rumor)

The Google Nexus 10 2 could arrive with a display of 12 inches and have lost the menu button the same as the Samsung Galaxy Pro tablets that have been recently released.

The Nexus 10 2 didn’t arrive at the CES, which meant that several rumoured release dates have now been missed. The tension around the tablet continues to build up as Google refuse to give out any hints or details about the tablet. Meanwhile Samsung did surprise everyone when they recently launched four tablets onto the market.

Product Reviews suggested that Google could have gone back to the drawing board with the Google Nexus 10 2. Reports did suggest that Samsung would be behind the second gen tablet and that it may arrive with a larger display and be minus the menu buttons. This was seen on the new tablets from Samsung.

Samsung have recently revealed the Samsung Galaxy NotePro and TabPro 12.2. The two tablets boast the biggest displays and highest ppi on the market, with LCD displays of 12.2 inches.

We did hear that Google could look towards LG or ASUS for the successor to the Nexus 10. @evleaks said through Twitter that ASUS could be behind the tablet.

The Google Nexus 10 has passed its one-year birthday, coming out in November of 2012. Fans of Nexus devices are waiting for the arrival of the 2nd gen tablet with anticipation thanks to rumours that it could arrive with a 10 inch display and 2560 x 1600 ppi. It has also been rumoured to have 3GB of RAM and the Tegra 4 or possibly the Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, while there may be an 8MP camera on the back and 16GB or 32GB of internal storage.
