If you are waiting to get your hands on the Sony Xperia Z2 and you live in the US then you will be disappointed as Sony have said that the handset is not making its way there. Meanwhile it will arrive in the UAE markets on April 17.
The Sony Xperia Z2 has caused quite a buzz around the world and people have been asking if it will be able to compete with some of the devices that are on the market or coming out soon, such as the Apple iPhone 5S and the Samsung Galaxy S5.
Sony revealed a statement and said that they are going to launch handsets every six months. They want to be able to take over from Blackberry and tackle the lead that Samsung and Apple have right now.
“The idea is to come out with innovative products and bring them to the market as quickly as possible rather than aim for an annual routine,” said Izzat Kittaneh, Director Business Management at Sony MEA in a report by Emirates 24/7.
Sony could be transforming this year as it is thought they will start to make devices that are packed with power. They are going to be highlighting features that other makers of phones don’t offer, for instance water and dust proofing.
There is a camera of 20.7MP on the Sony Xperia Z2 and this is said to be the best camera in the market, along with the best camcorder. The camera comes with noise cancelling along with recording in 4K.
With all the features heading to the handsets of Sony it shows just how serious the company are in trying to compete against the likes of Samsung.
When the Sony Xperia Z2 arrives on the market in Australia it will come with a price tag of AU $899.95.
