The latest franchise of the Resident Evil game, the Resident Evil 7 might be under development of Capcom. Recently, the Resident Evil 7 had appeared on a LinkedIn resume of Karen Brackenridge. Brackenridge’s profile was discovered by NeoGAF.
The costume designer from Los Angeles had listed “Costume Designer for Resident Evil 7” as one of her working experience in her resume. Brackenridge even added the time frame for her job on the Resident Evil 7 which was November 2012 until January 2013. This means Capcom had started developing the Resident Evil 7 game shortly after they released the Resident Evil 6.
Other than what appeared on Brackenridge’s profile (which now had been removed), we have no other information about the Resident Evil 7 game. However, fans would definitely be hoping that the Resident Evil 7 would be a comeback for the Resident Evil series since the Resident Evil 6 had been a disappointment for many fans.
People are hoping that the Resident Evil 7 would have the survival and horror theme like in Resident Evil 4 and a graphic like the Resident Evil 5. The Resident Evil 6 which was more focused on action disappointed many fans. Some fans said that the Resident Evil 6 feels more like Call of Duty instead of a Resident Evil game.
Surely Capcom is still a long way from releasing the Resident Evil 7 game. Let’s just hope this time they would maintain the horror and survival aspect of the game which was the main attraction of the game series.
