Toyota have produced their fair share of pick-up trucks up until now, from releasing Hilux for Asia to the Tocoma elsewhere globally. The same thing can not be said for its premium brand, Lexus though.
If Lexus chose to go down the same road what could we expect? Lets leave it to car design manipulator, Theophilus Chin to produce the first blueprint. Here Theo combines the body of a Toyota Tacoma with the whole front of a Lexus LX 57O.
He gave it the name the Lexus LXT and it’s definitely been given a fierce appearance. We believe that the big spindle grille is largely responsible for that. Combined with the long tray at the back it is somewhat better though and would most likely improve a lot if that protective front lip was removed.
We know now that the remodeled Lexus LX570 will be available to the Malaysian market very soon and will face competition from the equally-V8-powered Infiniti QX80.
If this beast of a motor ever became a reality, would it be something that you would be interested in?
