Come next year, Honda will be releasing the Accord Facelift. Despite that fact, nobody has a clue on when the Accord will look like. That seems to be the case until today, when the Dongfang Spirior teased on the Accord Facelift.
Dongfang had just unveiled a new-looking Spirior during the recent Beijing Auto Show and the Accord Facelift will be sporting a similar design. This is due to the fact that the Spirior is basically the Honda Accord but renamed for China’s automotive market.
Even Honda was thrilled with how the new Spirior looks like and they hope for the sedan to accomplish “significant advancements in exterior design, dynamic performance and technologies as well as safety features”.
In detail, the Spirior is powered by a 2.4 liter direct injection four cylinder gasoline engine mated to an 8 speed DCT transmission. We can expect something of the same calibre to power the upcoming Accord Facelift.
The Spirior is also completed with the addition of features like lane departure warning, blind spot display system and head-up display.
