Valve has been on Twitter and they let out some hints. Some of these were very subtle, while others not so much so. They dropped out hints about a new game or a project that they were working on. It has been said that they will be revealing Half Life 3 soon, or if not then it would be something very much like it.
The rumours started when David Goldfarb, the lead designer of Battlefield 4, spoke out. He mentioned that he had seen something that was great. The Minecraft inventor then asked if it was Half Life 3 and he said:
Goldfarb: “My silence must be interpreted as silence”
Persson: “Reply to this tweet if hl3 is confirmed,”
Goldfarb: “I will show my answer with some interpretive dance, look closely.”
Well, he answered the tweet from Persson.
Dave Oshry then Tweeted “Just got out of a meeting with Valve that was single-handedly worth the trip out here. You guys are gonna love me for this.” There was another huge hint dropped out about the big reveal.
So perhaps this could mean that Half Life 3 is coming out soon. This is a game that fans have been waiting for, for some time, but which we know very little about. All that fans know at the moment is that it will come with the Source engine.
All the rumours and talk have led to many sightings about the game, but there hasn’t been any confirmation about Half Life 3. So this means that there is a good chance that everything we have seen could be fake, other than the box art, which is a dead giveaway.
