For more than a decade already, Half Life fans have been kept waiting for Half Life 3. The unfortunate thing is that Valve has yet to announce anything on the highly anticipated game. For Gabe Newell however, he likes to toy with the hearts of the fans.
This is evident if Half Life fans are to observe Gabe’s words on the subject throughout the waiting period. The co-founder of Valve and also brains behind the Half Life series kept on dismissing the speculations of Half Life 3’s production as false but never did manage to deny Half Life 3’s coming.
Last we heard from Gabe, the lad claims that Half Life 3 is not in production and it won’t be coming out anytime soon. Gabe added that Valve doesn’t wish to linger in the past but that does not mean it is impossible.
In two statements, Gabe managed to destroy the hopes for Half Life 3 before raising it again. It is like a mental BDSM for the fans and this is why we find it fitting to refer to it as 50 Shades of Gabe. For the fans, we highly encourage you not to be moved by Gabe’s words.
