If there is one thing GTA 5 has failed is with the game’s tear gas. This tactical weapon that is used to disperse crowd or disorient enemies in real combat situations has no function in GTA 5. The fans have been criticizing Rockstar for failing to create a use for the tear gas.
However, it wasn’t that long later when one player stepped up and revealed that there is actually a use for the tear gas. It is true that this weapon has failed miserably but the amazing thing is that it can stop traffic in its place. Players can actually utilize the tear gas for tactical purposes like an extraction marker.
Throwing the tear gas on the road will literally empty the streets. Cars won’t drive through the gas and will avoid it 90% of the time. Such a thing can create some room for a helicopter to do an emergency pick up or landing without have to shoo away the annoying traffic.
At the moment, fans can accept this way of using the tear gas. Nevertheless, Rockstar shouldn’t be complacent and start giving the tear gas some tweaks. There are a lot of other games they can refer too. Games like Battlefield and Call of Duty have a superb tear gas mechanism and Rockstar can certainly take it as an example.
