We have already seen the arrival of the Samsung Galaxy Round and LG G Flex and these introduced the curved display for the first time. Now analysts have said that the next gen devices from Samsung and LG may arrive with flexible displays this year.
Heading the top of the list for the flexible displays are the LG G3, the Samsung Galaxy S5, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and possibly the LG Nexus 4.
Industry reports have suggested that Samsung may have the wraparound displays in production this year and this could coincide with the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S5.
One thing that is said to be interesting about the wraparound displays is that it would give the owner of the handset a view from three angles. This should not be confused with a 360 degree view though. It would depend on how the phone is put down as to whether owners are able to see the display from any angle, including the device being laid flat on its back, where owners would see seams.
We have no idea as to how LG might adopt the displays but is has been said that the company are working on the flexible tech. This could point to it being on the LG Nexus 6 or the LG G3.
When Samsung launched the Samsung Galaxy Round it was in limited supplies and this has left people wanting the tech to be more accessible if it is launched on the Samsung Galaxy S5, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and the LG devices.
