Google has already confirmed that the Nexus 6 will be released soon and now, consumers can already pre-order the highly anticipated smartphone. As a matter of fact, Google revealed that the Nexus 6 is already sold out in last month’s pre-order service.
Remarkably, the supply shortage happened in a matter of hours after the booking process commenced. The pre-purchase portal at Google Play Store was updated with the caption, “We are out of inventory. Please check back soon”. Unfortunately, Google failed to give out a time frame on when stocks will be replenished.
That was the case until today, when Google revealed that they will be replenishing the Nexus 6’s stock on a weekly basis. In detail, Google aims to ensure that more units will be available every Wednesday and encourages consumers to check the Play Store then.
Alternatively, consumers can get the Nexus 6 with a carrier plan from AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint and U.S Cellular later this month, on 12 November. Of course, this is for the American market. Over in Europe, the Nexus 6 pre-order service has been delayed to 18 November from the initial date of 3 November.
The Google Nexus 6 is considered as a very special smartphone and it is different to what was offered on the year-old Nexus 5. The device comes with a large 6” screen that develops 493ppi as it draws power from the 2.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor with Adreno 420 GPU and 3GB of RAM.
The Nexus 6 is also offered with either 32GB or 64GB of internal storage space, together with a 13MP rear camera and 2MP front shooter. The icing on the cake is with the Nexus 6 structure, which is both water and dust resistant.
With that being said, we highly advise consumers to get on the Play Store on Tuesday and spam on the refresh button. Once the pre-order is available, follow the instructions to make purchase the Nexus 6 ahead of everyone else.
