While the Nexus 5 might not have sold as many units as some of the other devices on the market, the handset is cheaper and it does rival the specs of handsets such as the HTC One, Moto X, Galaxy Note 3 and the iPhone 5.
With each new Nexus handset comes something new and this is the benchmark that other companies have to follow. NFC was first seen on a Nexus handset and each successor brings with it something that stands out from the crowd.
KitKat 4.4 arrived with the Nexus 5 and the OS was totally news and brought new features. Thanks to it being lightweight owners have been able to enjoy a much faster and responsive performance from their device. Along with this the handset offered a good camera and processor. For a device with such specs the Nexus 5 was a bargain.
MobileBurn recently rumbled the Nexus 5 when they put it against the LG G2, Samsung Galaxy Note 3, Samsung Galaxy S3, Moto X and HTC One. The Nexus 5 came out very well and in some cases it did better than the other devices.
In the end it is down to what you want from a phone and you will either fall in love with the Google Nexus 5 or hate it.
