There is a huge controversy with the Nexus 6 released here in the US after many users reported that their device is running on Android 4.4.4 KitKat instead of the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop. Also, most of the reported cases involve those that bought the Nexus 6 from AT&T.
The KitKat OS came as a massive shocker to many and it is also targeted by many hackers in the world. After all, there are many rumours suggesting that the KitKat OS on the Nexus 6 is the official Google developer’s edition, thus comes with answers to many secrets.
Those affected by the issue, however, are not interested in the programming aspect of things and just want a usable Nexus 6. The good news is that AT&T is recalling the Nexus 6 affected to get updated into the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop.
The mishap also further rumoured the speculations which suggest that the Nexus 6 is actually the Android Silver smartphone that was planned but got cancelled by Google. After all, that is the only way tech junkies can explain why the Nexus 6 is not Lollipop-ready.
