It isn’t really important if the Audi Q5 is released as the clean diesel or, over in the UK, as the first of the four wheel drive Ultra model, the silent and clean engine will fit the Audi Q5 perfectly. Managing tweaks may have put it up against vehicles such as the BMW X3, but it still has the ability to increase the appeal of the previous year in production seeing as a brand new model is heading our way in 2016.
The Audi Q5 runs on a a 2.0 litre diesel engine which is expected to arrive in the UK some time in the middle of 2015. Audi have spruced up the saloon and the coupe and have included low C02 Ultra models and has a 2.0 litre engine so the Q range hasn’t been neglected.
This engine comes from the A6 Ultra and has more power and is less noisy and more economical than the 2.0 diesel that it has been offered. We have been told that it may become the first wheel drive car to include the Ultra badge, Audi have not yet made a decision whether the Clean diesel name is going to be on there or not.
The vehicle will come with the 7 speed dual clutch S Tronic gearbox and when at a good pace, fuel economy and emissions are enhanced to 49.5mpg. Looking at everything together we have a great thing here. Adjustments have been made to the steering and a push for improvements of figures which would place the A5 ahead of its competition, however the X3 stays unbeatable.
