Alfa Romeo is looking to start strong with their Alfa Romeo Stelvio. Instead of starting things off from the bottom, the Alfa Romeo Stelvio will arrive sporting the top of the range V6 engine.
The V6 engine will be the same engine that Alfa Romeo is using to power up the Alfa Romeo Giulia QV. The top of the range model will come fitted with the 2.9-liter twin turbo V6 engine. We do not know how much the engine will be offering on the Stelvio but on the Giulia QV model, the engine delivered about 503hp and 600Nm of torque. It is believed that we might see the Alfa Romeo Stelvio coming in with more torque to offer.
The engine will be mated to an eight-speed auto transmission. Besides the top of the range version, Alfa Romeo will also offer a few 2.2-liter diesel engine with different outputs as well as a few 2.0-liter unit gasoline engine.
