Sony is about to release the all in one gaming system, Playstation Now. Playstation Now will be a service that manages anything and everything Playstation. The service will reach out to the PS3, PS4, PS Vita, Bravia TV, Tablets and Smartphones.
The PS Now will enable players to have their games wherever they go. It is the first cloud storage being made exclusively for the Playstation. At the moment, PS Now is reaching its final stages in development and a beta should be ready soon.
Playstation’s senior manager, Matt Harper, was quick to answer the many queries from the fans. When it comes to the cost of PS Now, Matt revealed that it the service will be chargeable. However, the cost is still undecided and will wait until the Beta gets released.
If everything goes as planned, fans can expect the PS Now to arrive by June this year. Of course, Matt also mentioned that the service will arrive to mainland America first before coming to other regions.
There are some requirements to meet in order to run PS Now smoothly. Matt warned the fans that they must have at least 5MBPS of internet speed to run PS Now at full throttle. The faster the speed, the better the performance will be. When the beta arrives, players can test it out and the developers will monitor on how varying speed will affect the service.
The PS Now will also automatically adjust every settings and resolutions to maintain a quality and responsive experience.
