2015 Pajero and Shogun Are Two-Of-A-Kind

The Pajero is regarded as one of Mitsubishi’s most prized possession and it is in plans to get updated after a new concept was unveiled back during the Moscow International Auto Show which took place last month.

Today, Mitsubishi is at it again as they announced the facelifted Shogun here in the UK. One might get confused here so it is important to note that the Shogun and the Pajero are actually the same vehicle bearing different names, for the different market.

The Shogun is revealed to be coming with a redesigned front end, and a deeper, more integrated grille. The bumpers are also shaped anew and there are LED daytime running lights as well.

The Shogun will be offered in many variants. The Long Wheel Base model, for example, comes with an additional new tail lamp cluster graphics and a different cover for the tailgate mounted spare wheel. On the other hand, every Shogun trims enjoy better sound insulations and new audio units.

The Shogun is powered by a 3.2-liter turbo diesel engine. Prices vary for each variant where the entry level SWB Shogun 3.2 DI-D Warrior retails at £29,369 while the top of the line LWB Shogun 3.2 DI-D SG4 Auto is priced at £36,799.
