Dodge have stated that the pricetag of the Dodge Viper is going to be lowered. We aren’t just talking about just slightly either, but by $15,000. The US will be the first to benefit from this price reduction. The new price of the Dodge Viper will now be $84,995, not counting the tax and destination fees.
For people who own the Gen 5 Viper already, Dodge will be rewarding them with a certificate for $15,000 which they are able to use towards the new Dodge Viper. They are able to use the $15,000 certificate as well as having the $15,000 reduction. For buyers who may still want to get the 2014 model, those will also be given a $15,000 price reduction.
The Dodge Viper runs on a 8.4 liter V10 engine which is able to give 645hp and do 20mpg when travelling on the highway. It will also offer new aditional packages as well as being available in a range of new colours.
Work on the Ddoge Viper is going to begin at the Conner Avenue Assembly Plant in Detroit and will most likely be in showrooms by the start of next year.
