The Samsung Galaxy S5 was launched in Q1 of this year and the OnePlus One came out just recently. The latter being known as a flagship killer, as it comes with some specifications and features that is high end. This means that it will give devices such as the HTC One M8 and Samsung Galaxy S5 a hard time.

The OnePlus One is available in market in Europe and it is thought that it will arrive in other regions around the world during the latter half of this year. But is the handset worth waiting for or should you go for the Samsung Galaxy S5?

The Samsung Galaxy S5 offers the Super AMOLED display of 5.1 inches and resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. The OnePlus One has a large 5.5 inch display of LCD and offers the same resolution as the Samsung Galaxy S5. The Samsung Galaxy S5 has he 432ppi and this is a little bit higher than the 401ppi of the OnePlus One.

The Samsung Galaxy S5 is offered with 16GB or 32GB of storage and the OnePlus One has 16GB or 64GB. The Samsung Galaxy S5 supports SD card but the OnePlus One doesn’t.

The battery of the Samsung Galaxy S5 is 2800mAh, the OnePlus One comes with a battery of 3100mAh. The former is able to offer 21 hours talk time and around 390 on standby. The OnePlus One battery isn’t known at the moment.

The Samsung Galaxy S5 is offered in white, black, gold and blue. The OnePlus One comes in white and black.

The Samsung Galaxy S5 offers a fingerprint sensor along with heart rate monitor, the OnePlus One doesn’t.

In Australia the Samsung Galaxy S5 comes in at AU$699. The OnePlus One 16GB is AU$317. You can get the 64GB for around US$349.
