The Frankfurt Motor Show last year was really interesting, at least for the Opel fans. The German carmaker stole the show after unveiling their Monza Concept.
In detail, the Monza study boasts a shooting brake body style and it complements the 1L 3-Cylinder turbocharged engine CNG range extender.
Today, however, it seems that the Monza has broken up with the concept from last year. It seems that Opel wish to utilize the Monza for a future SUV that will look to be ready in 2017. It will be built in Russelsheim before retailing from $35,906.
Of course, the Monza SUV will also be getting some parts and pieces from the original concept. Among them includes the styling, headlights and chrome grille. As for the engine, it will be developed by Insignia.
