A lot of people were disappointed with what Toyota had to offer on the 2016 Toyota Prius. Many consumers were looking forward to these big changes that Toyota has promised and while they did deliver when it comes to big changes, the change were far from what we wanted.
The older Prius was often described as a boring looking vehicle. The 2016 model is definitely not boring. With its aggressive exterior design, the Toyota Prius is closer to being ugly than boring but that will not matter when people start looking at the fuel economy numbers on the Prius.
The standard Toyota Prius will now be able to return about 54mpg in the city and 50mpg on the highway. As if that is not impressive enough, Toyota will also be offering a the 2016 Toyota Prius Eco model which will return about 58mpg in the city and 53mpg on the highway.
With the impressive fuel economy number, people will most likely be willing to forget about that ugly exterior.
