Before everyone jumps in and goes on about how ugly the appearance of the Bently Bentayga is, let’s admit that is could have been a whole lot worse. Just look at Geneva’s EXP 9 F concept from several years back. It’s the one that associate editor Jonathon Ramsey described as having “cat anus headlights”, I’m sure you remember the one. You have to admit that compared to that one the production car actually looks rather good!
When the Bentayga is released it will most likely become Bentley’s top-selling vehicle. There are plenty of things to admire about it, such as a 600-horsepower, 12-cylinder engine and the very swanky leather seating for four or five people. The Bentayga was has actually been engineerd for off-road driving, complete with a number of different traction management modes to cope with all the rough terrains.
After the initial launch has taken place, the Bentayga will come in diesel, hybrid, and Speed versions and also a even-passenger version. We would put money on, at some point, having the brand’s 4.0-liter, twin-turbo V8 sat under the bonnet as well.
