E3 failed to see Square Enix sharing a release window for Kingdom Hearts 3 but it does not spell the end of the world for the fans. This is because new information on Kingdom Hearts 3 has surfaced earlier today and it suggests the D23 Expo to be the place where everything about the game gets revealed.
An industry insider went on to speculate that there won’t be any Marvel or Star Wars characters appearing in Kingdom Hearts 3. Instead, players will be getting weapons based on both franchises.
Furthermore, D23 will see the final trailer for Kingdom Hearts 3 coming out. On it, players will get to witness the new characters coming to the game and this will confirm on the coming of Marvel Heroes and Jedis from Star Wars.
Well, this makes perfect sense and the weapons can be used as Keyblade transformations for Kingdom Hearts 3. Having Marvel Heroes and Star Wars characters appearing in Kingdom Hearts 3 will only disrupt the power balance in the game.
