2015 MacBook Pro: Skylake Hype Turns To Worries

An Apple insider shared earlier today that the next-gen retina MacBook Pro will not be coming out with Intel’s Skylake on-board. This is solely because of the fact that Apple needs to finalize the upcoming product by WWDC.

In detail, Skylake is still unavailable for integration and it the 14nm nanochips will only be ready in late June or early July. Apple, on the other hand, found it important to fully unveil he next-gen MacBook Pro at WWDC.

So, it is either Apple stick to the latest Intel Broadwell chips or they unveil a chip-less MacBook Pro at WWDC. Obviously, the Cupertino-based tech giant won’t settle for the latter.

This is unfortunate since Skylake promises to give the MacBook Pro a tremendous upgrade. Then again, the fate of the laptop is still uncertain at the moment hence there is still a chance for some exciting surprises.
