Later this year, Ford will be launching the next-gen Focus RS. There is a lot of excitement surrounding the next-gen Focus RS since it is going to be the first of its kind to debut here in the US.
On top of that, the Focus RS will be powered by a newly-developed 2.3L EcoBoost engine that is sourced from the Mustang. The new engine will allow the Focus RS to achieve a whopping 315hp while being driven on the AWD platform.
Of course, the sweetest thing about the car is that it comes with a 6-speed manual transmission. Ford has already confirmed that there won’t be any automatic transmission offered with the Focus RS as they wish for the car to be the ultimate thriller.
Unfortunately, we have yet to learn on the performance figures of the next-gen Focus RS but we can expect Ford to shed more light on this in the coming months.
