Ford has countlessly repeated themselves that the Focus RS is going to be massive when released and the car is built to offer great performance and unrivalled thrill.
This is already evident as the Ford Focus RS is equipped with a Mustang-sourced 2.3L EcoBoost engine with many great and unique electronic features to ensure exquisite handling.
For the automatic fans however, it is more bad news as there won’t be any automatic or dual-clutch transmission coming with the Focus RS. The sports hatch will only feature a manual box.
Ford confirmed on this by claiming that they wish to offer the ultimate thrill with the Focus RS hence they will only use manual transmission for the car.
