Later this year, Ford will be launching the next-gen Focus RS and for the first time in history, the car is going to make its debut here in the US. The Focus RS will be slotted above the Focus ST and it will come out with an exhilarating performance to offer.
In the latest reveal by Ford, they shared that the Focus RS that is built for the US will be no different from the models produced for other parts of the world. The only downside to this is that the US-bound Focus RS will be coming out at a slightly later date.
For the Focus fans, they wouldn’t mind the slight delay so long as they get the full-fledged Focus RS. The Focus RS is going to come out with at least 300hp to offer from its Mustang-sourced 2.3L EcoBoost engine and the sports hatch will surely take some attention away from the upcoming Chevrolet Camaro when released.
