GDC 2015 had just concluded and as we have predicted, Half Life 3 didn’t get announced at the event. This is obviously because GDC is more of a tech event not games. Hence, Valve took part on GDC to discuss more on their future technologies.
Among the topics raised by Valve includes the Steam OS, Steam Controller, Steam Link, Steam Machines, Steam VR, Lighthouse and Source 2. Unfortunately, there is none about Half Life 3.
Regardless, the signs are still strong for Half Life 3 to get announced this year and it will most likely be happening at E3 next month. So fans should not feel too upset by GDC and instead look forward to E3.
