Later this year, Ford will be launching the next-gen Focus RS and fans can’t wait for it. Now, the hype for the Focus RS has exploded further after Ford confirmed on the sports sedan US debut.
Prior to the confirmation, many fans in the US feared that the Focus RS is going to be a no show due to the availability of the EcoBoost-powered Lincoln MKC and also the Mustang.
In short, having the Ford Mustang being added to the mix will overcrowd Ford’s performance line-up and it might be bad for business.
However, Ford clarified that it is important to have the Focus RS here in the US since the country is its home field. Hence, the US fans have grown hopeful and join the list of those that are eager to own the sports sedan.
