The Mazda CX-5 might be a great SUV but it couldn’t really compete with models like the Volvo XC60 mainly because they both are in different segments but that might be changing soon as new reports suggest that the upcoming Mazda CX-5 might be sold as a premium SUV.
It is believed that Mazda is trying to turn the Mazda CX-5 into a premium model. We know that the 2018 Mazda CX-5 will be coming with an upgraded exterior but if it was to go premium, we should be expecting more than just an exterior facelift.
The Mazda CX-5 should be coming in with a lot more features. Some fans are also hoping that Mazda would carry the new Mazda CX-9 engine over so that the CX-5 can have a better performance now.
We can also expect the Mazda CX-5 to come with a much bigger price tag if it does go premium.
